Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) Training

Join White Buffalo Land Trust for their Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) Course this April 2023. This 5-day training focuses on monitoring ecological outcomes as part of the EOV platform through the Savory Institute and becoming an accredited monitor. Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) is the “science inside” Savory Institute’s Land to Market program. Land to Market (L2M) is a unique sourcing solution that connects conscientious buyers, brands and retailers directly to farms and ranches that are verified to be regenerating their land.

Throughout the course, students will learn how to create a monitoring plan, conduct short-term monitoring, establish and read long-term monitoring, identify and record plant species, and review data entry and report writing. Whether students have had some monitor training in the past or are new to the EOV monitoring protocol, anyone who is interested in providing EOV monitoring services must take an accredited EOV monitor training course. Space is limited!

Cost: $1,500 USD (Includes 3 locally sourced, delicious meals a day, instruction, and materials)

• Upon registration, a non-refundable deposit of $500 will be collected to secure your spot in the course.

Lodging: Tent and car camping is available onsite for $25/night, and shared cabin stays are available on site for $75/night. The shared cabin stays are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If onsite cabins fill up, we do have a partner with offsite cabins that can be reserved for a different cost per night.
