DESCRIPTION:North Santa Barbara County – FRESA (Food Resilience\, Equity\, Sustainability\, and Action!) is excited to invite you to our upcoming Community Food Webinar on May 5th at 12:30pm on Zoom!  Learn about community food system advocates’ work to increase access to local nutritional food in North and mid-Santa Barbara County and how you can get involved! \nSpeakers include Office of Social Services- Cal Fresh\, Guadalupe Business Association\, Santa Barbara County Food Rescue – Community Environmental Council\, and others. See the flyer attached to this email for more information. Join the meeting at this link on Thursday May 5th! \nFRESA is surveying community members\, market vendors\, and local farmers about their needs and ability to support a new Farmers Market in Guadalupe. This new market would be the only one in the area to accept the CalFresh EBT card and could offer Market Match (doubling the buying power of EBT cardholders).
