CEC’s Food Program, in partnership with the King & King Ranch, the Ventura Resource Conservation District and the UC Cooperative Extension, are putting together a Healthy Soils demonstration project in Filmore. If successful, this project will transition ~30 acres of degraded soil to a biodiverse, productive and carbon-sequestering site. Wish us luck!
