Regenerative Ranching Workshop with Alejandro Carillo

$150Alejandro Carrillo is one of the foremost contemporary experts on regenerative and holistic practices. A software engineer by training and a 4th generation rancher, Alejandro manages his family’s ranch in the Chihuahuan desert. Alejandro assists ranchers and institutions on regenerative practices across the Western USA and in South America. He also participates as a delegate to the United Nations to Combat Desertification and Land Degradation in multiple countries.
Learn the main principles and practices of regenerative ranching. This workshop is for anyone interested in ranching, rangeland management, farming or gardening. This workshop will equip you with the tools to improve soil and water retention, increase plant development and growth and build biodiversity.
Alejandro Carrillo will be offering a two-day workshop on regenerative topics including:
- the water-cycle
- soil fertility
- regenerative grazing
- risk management
- return on investment
Alejandro and his fellow ranchers have successfully transformed large parts of Mexico’s Chihuahuan desert to grassland by implementing holistic and regenerative practices. This has resulted in both increased rainfall, and returned desert land to lush grasslands.
Are meals included?
Lunch is included on Saturday, and Sunday. Coffee and tea provided upon arrival in the morning.
