The Community Environmental Council (CEC) is hosting #CelebrateClimateLeadership, a virtual Earth Day Festival dedicated to inspiration, community building, and climate action. The livestream event begins on Thursday, April 22 and runs until Saturday April 24. It will be available to view at SBEarthDay.org.
The event theme is Climate Leadership, with April 22 devoted to Youth Leadership, April 23 focused on Business Leadership and April 24 celebrating Community Leadership. Each day will include a variety of programming from conversations with climate leaders to musical performances, art contests and inspirational speakers.
The online event will be the only Santa Barbara Earth Day celebration this year, as the public festival will not be held due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions regarding large public gatherings.
