Alejandro Carrillo is one of the foremost experts on holistic and regenerative practices. Alejandro manages his family’s ranch in the Chihuahua desert. Together with his fellow ranchers, they have transformed one million acres of Mexico’s Chihuahua desert to grassland by implementing holistic and regenerative practices.

Alejandro is a delegate to the United Nations to Combat Desertification and Land Degradation. Healthy grasslands are important because they are one of the largest sources of carbon sequestration.
