Partnering with landowners from Carpinteria to Goleta who have or want fruit trees, Greenspot harvests excess fruit from residential trees, private orchards, and commercial farms at no cost to the land owner, working with local retail channels like produce markets and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)Community Supported Agriculture (CSA): A system that more directly connects producers and consumers in a food system by allowing consumers to subscribe to receive the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms. to ensure that the fruit finds its way to someone’s table. Profits are shared with landowners who participate – and the trees that are planted and cared for will continue to provide for landowners and eaters for years to come.
