Meal Pass is building partnerships with the restaurants and markets that have extra food at the end of each day. Since launching, they have enlisted 15 restaurants and numerous nonprofits to donate more than 6,000 meals.
Led by student Ellie Tunnell, Cate School students worked with Santa Barbara Food Rescue to increase food access and prevent food waste by distributing 400 pounds of food to local nonprofit organizations.
